Trapani Shark, a basketball club in Italy, has taken an official step that shakes the top of Italian basketball. Gianluca Alfieri, a central figure in the investigation on the assignment of fictitious tax credits that also involved Brescia Calcio, has been arrested. The Brescia prosecutor's office has requested the archiving of the case for the president of the rondinelle, Massimo Cellino, explicitly qualifying him as a victim of the fraudulent system. Trapani Shark has been arrested for having suffered a damage of 3.9 million euros. Trapani Shark has also clarified its position on the operational rectification carried out in May 2025.
